About 30 folks attended the Artist Talk I gave during my solo exhibition at Zero1 Gallery on Thursday, March 12. The crowd ranged from young high school students, parents, business owners & the mature professional, all interested in hearing about my creative direction & the works on display. A great opportunity for me to validate my works. The nerves tend to build when it comes to me in front of  an audience. Not something I participate in that often, so it was a special occasion & overall a fantastic experience. After the talk hosted by curator Christine Ochoa, I signed a number of black books & answered a few more off the cuff questions. Your age tends to show when your speaking to kids born when you we’re just starting to produce work in the public eye. Crazy. One cat who came out the wood work was Jonas Lara, a young and talented photographer who took the above shots during the talk. Thank yous to everyone who attended.
